We ask that you please do not book any trip on the basis that we might receive our "Islands" permit.  Please book the trip with the intention of going fishing on the Royal Polaris for big Yellowfin Tuna and Wahoo - and leave the rest to us!

*For those interested, the distance from Puerto Vallarta to Clipperton is 650 miles, which is much less than the distance from San Diego to Clarion Island (874 miles.)

Gear & Tackle Suggestions:
Tackle requirements will vary, depending on your choice and length of trip. We suggest that you request a tackle list when you make your reservation, or you can download from our website. For those of you joining us, but feel you do not have the proper tackle, consider taking advantage of our show package for a small line fee, we offer a complete package of rods and reels. Terminal tackle is also available onboard at Tackle store prices.

Fish & Game Regulations:
Both Mexican Fish & Game and California Fish & Game prohibit the sale of sport caught fish. We consider this a serious issue, and we will assist in the prosecution of any passenger doing so. Every offense jeopardizes our strong relations with the Department de Pesca in Mexico.

Cancellation Policy:
All deposits are non-refundable unless cancellation is received ninety (90) days prior to departure date on trips of 3 to 6 days duration, and one hundred eighty (180) days prior to departure date on trips 7 days and longer. A refund on a short notice cancellation will only be issued when the vacated spot is rebooked. All deposits refunded are subject to a 10% administration fee.

CANCELLATION IS REQUIRED IN WRITING BEFORE A REFUND WILL BE ISSUED.

In the event of early departure, which happens quite often, all passengers must be onboard two hours prior to scheduled departure.

All reservations are considered tentative until a 50% deposit is received. All deposits are non-refundable unless cancellation is received ninety(90) day prior to departure date on trips 3-6 days duration and one hundred eighty(180) days prior to departure date on trips 7 day and longer. All deposits refunded are subject to a 10% administration fee. Should there be any substantial increase in the cost of diesel fuel or Mexican fishing permits, we may find it necessary to impose a surcharge.
